You will learn how to make your own face masque, moisturizer and exfoliator using products you can find in your own kitchen! Give yourself a fantastic facial even if you are on a budget.
Things You'll Need:
Dry Oats
Honey
Aloe Vera Gel
Almonds
Vegetable Glycerin
Instructions
Step 1 Exfoliator - Mix 3 tablespoons of dried oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture to clean skin using a gentle circular motion. Leave on for 5-10 minutes to get the full benefits from the nutrients. Wash off after this time and pat skin dry. Oats have exfoliating and moisturising properties while honey is one of the most nutrient rich foods available, making this an excellent exfoliating and moisturizing masque.
Step 2 Face Masque - Make a paste using 3 tablespoons of pre-soaked almonds and a little water, apply to your face and leave on for 5 minutes to get the benefits of the almond oil. Wash off and pat skin dry. Almonds contain a natural oil which is used in a lot of beauty products and they possess amazing moisturizing properties.
Step 3 Moisturizer - Using 4 parts aloe vera gel to one part vegetable glycerin, mix to a smooth consistency. Apply to your face as you would your normal moisturizer, using a gentle, upward motion. Aloe vera is one of natures best moisturizers and also helps to repair the skin making this a fantastic moisturizer without all the preservatives and additives.
